Rejection number 10 of my attempts, and the first of 2006. Yay. What hurts more about this is how anti-climactic it is. You wait for months and months and months, not quite forgetting about it, wondering, then you get a three sentence rejection, and that's it. Back to the list, find another freaking magazine to read it, and then make you wait six months to tell you they hate it.

What a profession I decided on.

I just spent three hours writing a two-page paper, and I'm pretty sure that it's not the right format or anything. So I'll make Rob read it for me tomorrow. I did learn what the hell I was supposed to write about, but exactly ten minutes after I finished, so I added a paragraph of what was needed.

I really had a fucking hard time with it, I know I'll be stuck writing it tomorrow as well.

Now to do some "research".

Well, folks. I hope everyone has a happy new year. But I can't help feeling completely bummed, because the girl I wanted to notice me didn't. Oh well.

Maybe it'll get easier.
